Setting up call forwarding. Tariff “Nowhere Cheaper” Changing the members of the call receiving group

I wanted to describe in more detail a way to cheaply receive calls while roaming. As I wrote earlier, I believe that the highest quality method currently is the call forwarding system via Skylink.

Connection:
1. Buy a Skylink envelope with the “Easy as Easy” tariff from any Svyaznoy or Euroset. Costs 500 rubles, 200 to the account. There is no subscription fee. Be sure to tell the seller several times about the need for urgent activation. There is no need to buy a phone, you won’t need it.
2. Go to the Skypoint page, click “Initial registration”, register using PUK2. If registration fails, it means that the moron from Svyaznoy/Euroset did not activate your card. Call Skylink support, they will activate it for you over the phone (they will ask you in detail about your passport..... It was exactly like that for me)))
3. Log in to Skypoint using your username and password, go to “services”. You need to add "Call Forwarding", "Caller ID", "International Access" and ALWAYS "Invited Guest". International access is added only through a call to support. The rest is added by checking the boxes.
Congratulations!!! Your Skylink is ready to go.

Control:
1. Go to Skypoint.
2. Go to "Settings" => "Call".
3. In the “Phone to which unconditional forwarding is set” window, you need to enter the phone number to which all calls from your Skylink will be forwarded. The phone number is entered in the same format as on a home phone, that is, 810 instead of "+". Example: +443457654843 = 810443457654843.

Before departure:
1. Before departure, forward all calls from your mobile to Skylink. This is easy to do through the phone menu. You need to enable unconditional forwarding. In order to avoid “technical failures”, cancel all forwarding before installing forwarding (this is the recommendation of telecom operators).
2. Top up your Skylink balance. Decide how you will top up your balance from abroad (bank card or friends). I recommend putting some money in reserve))) They won’t go to waste, they’ll remain for the next trip.

Upon arrival:
1. Buy a local SIM card.
2. Go to Skypoint and set up unconditional forwarding to this SIM card as described above.
3. Enjoy incoming communications without forgetting about your balance.

How to accurately find out your local SIM number:
It is written on the package you buy. In some countries, it is customary to replace “+” with 0 or 00. It is necessary to eliminate the extra zeros. Find out the code of the country you are traveling to in advance. This will help you get your bearings. There is an easy way - send an SMS from this SIM card. When it is received, the sender's number will be in the format +......

How to find out tariffs.

Using the function call forwarding You can control how Lync handles incoming calls if you can't reach your work phone or want someone else to answer your calls.

Notes:

After an emergency call, forwarding rules are disabled for 120 minutes to allow operators to contact the caller. You can reset it at any time by opening the corresponding menu in the lower left corner of the Lync main window.

The number to which Lync calls are forwarded is visible to the caller, but only if they are also using Lync.

Call forwarding options

You can configure the following handling methods for incoming calls in Lync:

Disable call forwarding

Select this check box to only receive calls to your work phone or Lync.

Forward calls to a number

If you want to enable instant call forwarding from your work number, check this box and then select one of the options from the drop-down menu.

Mobile: calls are routed to a mobile phone if its number is indicated in the window Lync - Settings > Phones.

Home: calls are routed to your home phone if its number is indicated in the window Lync - Settings > Phones.

New number or contact: Enter a number where you can be reached or select a Lync contact who will answer calls for you.

My delegates : if delegates are set up, they will take calls from you. You can also add delegates in this window if they are not selected, or select a command in the window Call forwarding to manage participants.

Simultaneous call

If you want to receive calls to both your work phone number and another phone number, check this box and select one of the following options from the drop-down menu.

Mobile: calls will come not only to your work phone, but also to your mobile phone, the number of which must be indicated in the window Lync - Options > Phones.

Home: calls will come not only to your work phone, but also to your home phone, the number of which must be indicated in the window Lync - Options > Phones.

New number: calls will be sent not only to your work phone, but also to the number you specified.

My delegates: Calls go to your work phone and also to your delegates if you have them set up. You can also add delegates in this window,if they are not selected, or select the commandChange delegate participants in the window Call forwarding to manage participants.

My call group: If a call group is configured, calls to you will be routed to its members and to your work phone. You can also add or remove call group members at the bottom of the window if they are not configured, or select the command Change call group members in the window Call forwarding for member management.

Call forwarding options

To set a delay before calls are forwarded, follow these steps:

In chapter Current call forwarding settings click the link next to the caption Unanswered calls will be sent to the number.

Specify where calls should go. For example, select Voice mail or New number or contact.

On the menu Before redirecting, call for the specified time (in seconds) select the delay time before the call is forwarded.

Click the button OK to return to the window Lync - Options.

Changing Call Group Members

The call team is the people who can answer your work calls, provided that the support team has enabled this feature. You can add or remove members, and choose which members can take calls on your behalf.

To add members, click the button Add, and then double-click the contact you want.

To remove a group member, select a contact and click Delete.

To configure the delay before calling the group, select the desired value from the list Call the call reception group in (sec.).

Note: Once you set up a call receiving group, calls will not be automatically forwarded to its members. To do this, you need to select one of the parameter values in the call forwarding section Simultaneous call or Forward calls to:.

Changing delegates

You can add delegates and specify whether they will answer calls on your behalf. When you add delegates, Lync automatically creates a group Delegates in your contacts list.

To add, remove, or manage delegates, follow these steps:

Select an item Change delegate participants.

Click the button Add and double-click the desired contact.

To allow delegates to receive calls to you, select the checkbox Receiving calls.

To configure the delay before calling delegates, select the desired value from the menu Call delegates in (sec.).

To remove a delegate, select its name and then select the command Delete.

Note: Once delegates are configured, calls will not be routed to them automatically. To do this, you need to select one of the parameter values in the call forwarding section Simultaneous call or Forward calls to:.

Call forwarding from your mobile number can help in many cases. Eg:

  • you forgot your phone at home, but at work you need to receive calls;
  • you are in a place where your operator’s network does not work, but others do;
  • when moving from one number to another, you want to temporarily set up call forwarding from the old number to the new one.

Redirection can be set up in two ways:

  • through the phone menu or using special codes;
  • by contacting your operator - through the subscriber service or personal account.

How to forward to another number

The easiest way to enable call forwarding is through your phone settings. All phones and operating systems have a different path in the settings, let’s look at the most popular ones:

Enable forwarding on iOS– go to “Settings” -> “Phone” -> “Forwarding”.
– go to the “Phone” application -> “Settings” -> “Calls” -> “Call forwarding”:

You can also enable forwarding by typing the command in the dialer:

**21*PHONE_NUMBER_FOR FORWARDING#

and pressing the call key.

“21” in this command is an unconditional forwarding code, that is, all calls without exception will be forwarded. There are several codes that can be used instead of 21:

  • 67 – forwarding only if your phone is busy;
  • 62 – forwarding if your phone is offline or turned off;
  • 61 – forwarding if you do not answer the call.

If you don’t have a phone number with which you need to set up call forwarding, call your operator’s customer service. The dispatcher will connect you to any type of forwarding to any number, of course, after you confirm your identity by giving your passport details.

The forwarding setting is usually indicated by a special icon in the status bar:

How to disable forwarding

This can also be done through your phone settings and contact center. Or use the command:

##002# - cancels all installed forwardings.

How much does redirection cost?

Using the forwarding service itself is free, but you will pay for forwarded calls at your regular rate. It’s as if you are calling the number to which you have set forwarding. Also, sometimes the operator may charge a fee for setting up call forwarding through the subscriber service. For example, at MTS it will cost 30 rubles.

Attention! Replacing Skylink RUIM cards for Tele2 SIM cards is carried out ONLY in Rostelecom (Tele2) offices with a passport (individual, owner only) or a power of attorney from the company (legal entity).

Old Skylink equipment will NOT work! If you had landline phones or terminals, then

And now in more detail:

On November 1, 2016, voice data services (telephone communications) in the CDMA-450 standard of the Skylink network ceased to be provided, i.e. On November 1, 2016, all telephone numbers, including direct landlines (for example, in Moscow - in codes 495 and 499) stopped working, and all additional functions, including call forwarding, will be disabled. The shutdown date was postponed several times, and now it has happened - Skylink has turned off its CDMA equipment. From sources in the Rostelecom company it became known that since approximately October 20, 2016, communication in this standard for many subscribers has a one-way connection: the subscriber can make an outgoing call, but incoming calls do not go through.

UPD. In May 2019, this problem reached Yaroslavl and Rostov regions- one of the last strongholds of the CDMA-450 standard. From June 20 and 30 respectively are expected complete shutdowns of the CDMA standard in the Skylink network in Yaroslavl, Rostov and regions.

What should be done?

Skylink subscribers you need to go to the Skylink (Rostelecom) office (see on the official website cdma.skylink.ru) and write an application to transfer the number to Tele2. ONLY the owner of the room can arrive - the person to whom the room is registered, with his passport. No handwritten powers of attorney are valid, only notarized ones. Numbers issued to legal entities can only be re-issued if there is a power of attorney from the company with a seal. You will receive a SIM card with a temporary federal number, and after 1-2 days your Skylink number will be transferred to this SIM card. The translation of direct city numbers is no different from the translation of federal numbers in the 901 code.

For Rostelecom subscribers
You also need to go to the service office to replace the SIM card. Re-registration occurs similarly to re-registration in Skylink: individuals - only the owner of the number with a passport, legal entities - only a representative of the company with a stamped power of attorney. There you will be offered to rent for free a regular GSM “dialer” - the cheapest cellular push-button telephone, but this solution is not very suitable for: 1) elderly people; 2) for use in offices, shops, bars and cafes, etc.; 3) for use with PBX, etc. For equipment replacement, see the end of the page.

For Cityfon / Centel (Central Telegraph) subscribers - similar: go to the sales office and change RUIM to SIM - a Beeline SIM card is also issued. For equipment replacement, see the end of the page.

Hardware problems

Equipment that worked in Skylink networks, as well as in its MVNO projects (projects with other operators): Domolink Moby, Rostelecom , Cityphone Centel / Central Telegraph , MTT Home phone, etc., won't work anymore , and no other SIM cards (Megafon, MTS, Beeline, Tele2) can be used in it. Devices such as Huawei landline terminals, models ETS1000, ETS1001, FT2050, Skylink Base, as well as Huawei landline phones, models ETS2077, ETS2055, ETS2052, Skylink Table, Ubiquam UF300, etc., become completely useless - they can simply be thrown away.

The operator Tele2, to which you will be offered to connect (transfer your number), does not sell landline GSM phones or GSM gateways; you must use either smartphones or telephones, which is problematic or impossible in conditions of poor network reception. To solve this problem, you can purchase 3G gateways or 3G / 4G routers with voice communication support or improve the quality of network reception (strengthen voice communication) using repeaters (communication amplifiers). For subscribers using smartphones, switching to Tele2 will not bring any inconvenience, but what should subscribers using regular dialers and landline phones do, since many people use Skylink numbers as work numbers?
The most inexpensive solutions are Huawei 3G routers with telephone connectors: models Huawei B681 (Phone + 3G + WiFi) and Huawei B315 (Phone + 4G + 3G + WiFi) - these routers have RJ11 connectors for connecting ordinary analog phones: as simple as with a handset on wire and dialer, as well as radiotelephones of DECT and GAP standards. Yes
These models are primarily routers, so if you wish, you can use the Internet from the same Tele2 SIM card by connecting to the router via WiFi or via cable (the number of LAN connectors is from 2 to 4 depending on the model). The data transfer speed of the devices is: B200 - up to 3 Mbit/s, B681 - up to 21 Mbit/s. Attention! Internet and telephony do NOT work at the same time: when there is an incoming/outgoing call, the Internet connection is interrupted.
For subscribers who need higher speed and/or simultaneous access to the Internet and telephony, we can offer

All holidays the speed on Skylink is 0 or near zero. Almost all week I have been admiring the messages: “Network problem.” When calling the support service, there is only one answer: “All specialists are resting until 11.01.”
They have the most expensive tariffs and yet they don’t want to work. If anyone is thinking of connecting to mobile internet, skylink I don't recommend it.

If we talk about problems during the holidays, then they really did exist, but only on January 3 and January 10. And in both cases, the problems were closed on the same days. No one waited for the specialists to come out on 11.01. And they went out on holidays and went to sites.

Of course. If we hadn’t gone out on holidays, we would now be sitting without half of our customers.

Yesterday at lunchtime I fell, but technical support pissed in the eyes - everything is God's dew: everything is ok with us, remove the card from the modem for 10 minutes...

I'll tell you a little secret. The Unified Contact Center, which is located in Vladimir, has a little more information than you yourself. And there is no functionality to quickly solve your problem.
In short, if something breaks, then by and large it is useless to call there. The most they can do is check the settings.

Removing the R-UIM card from the modem usually helps because the number is rebooted within 10-15 minutes. And a possible frozen session is reset.

Who else has any questions?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ninja.gif)

All presented tariff plans provide the services “Additional direct city number with forwarding for telephony”, “Additional direct city number with forwarding for receiving faxes” and “Additional direct city number with forwarding for receiving data”. A one-time payment of 270 rubles is charged for connecting each additional number. The monthly subscription fee for “Additional direct city number with forwarding for telephony” is 150 rubles, for “Additional direct city number with forwarding for receiving faxes” and “Additional direct city number with forwarding for receiving data” - 120 rubles for each number.

So it’s still simple. And you don’t have to overpay.

good news about Centertelecom, but about Skylink I don’t understand why I need an additional number if I already have one and this is clearly a communication problem.

As if we are talking about Megafon. Megafon, like CenterTelecom, provides a number in the ABC code like (4922) xx-xx-xx, as I understand it.
If I’m wrong, then there are a lot of literate citizens here. They'll correct it.

As I understand it, the megaphone will forward calls from the landline Skylink number to its own number, I don’t know about the connection issue, whether it will improve or not, maybe Skylink’s problems are still occurring at the level of the signal from the landline phone to his, then the problems will persist.

I have been a Vladtelecom subscriber for 10 years. Previously, they monitored voice tariffs and always tried to be competitive. But in recent years they have put the screw on them, apparently in pursuit of Internet provisioning. Prices are high, communication is poor, etc. In response to my requests, requests to check, call back - complete silence. The glitches are the same as yours. I'm very displeased. The phones themselves are complete crap. It’s a pity that there are only two numbers on it... Most likely I’ll switch to a megaphone. I’ve been following him lately and asking my friends about the quality of communication. For example, in the Gusevsky district, he put all the operators on their backs... The coverage is good, there are many services. Now one task is to leave a voice message for everyone when calling to Skylink about the number change.

As I understand it, the megaphone will forward calls from a landline Skylink number to its own number,

Wrong. You will have another city megaphone number. You can leave the Skylink temporarily and redirect from it to the megaphone. You will only pay for incoming calls at Skylink rates as for outgoing calls from Skylink to a megaphone. But even with this scheme, only redirection to Beeline, there are glitches! A person calls and sometimes listens to silence, eventually hangs up... I don’t know who is to blame here, either Skylink or Beeline, but it works like crap...

As I understand it, the megaphone will forward calls from the landline Skylink number to its own number, I don’t know about the connection issue, whether it will improve or not, maybe Skylink’s problems are still occurring at the level of the signal from the landline phone to his, then the problems will persist.

Well, if you really are not joking, that is, you are not catching up, I will explain in more detail. You connect to MEGA, and connect to the NEW mobile number of MEGAFON a NEW CITY MEGAFONE NUMBER of 6 (SIX) digits, the number format will be 600-ХХХ. You will be able to call it from city numbers without dialing the operator code, that is, by dialing 600-ХХХ or by dialing the area code 4922 if the call is not from Vladimir. In short, the megaphone has absolutely the same system as Skylink now has, namely direct landline phone numbers. It costs 140 rubles per month (This is the cost of having a landline number on your mobile phone), and all calls are according to the tariff plan to which you connect. If you want to keep your old number, then set up a forwarding, there won’t be any problems, well, except for paying for the forwarding to SKYLINK as mentioned above. You play around with it, and if you’re happy with Skye after a while, turn it off, you don’t like it, look for something else!

As I understand it, this is the price of only the connected number, if you call to landline numbers then this is a separate cost, I just call landlines from Skylink for free.
