Instructions for updating the MegaFon Login phone software (model SP-AI) from the phone's internal memory.

We connect the turned on MegaFon Login phone to the computer using a data cable
On your phone, click “Enable USB storage” and confirm the action by clicking “OK”.
Download the official firmware update for Megafon Login - link.
Save the file to your phone, renaming the file to “Update.zip”
After saving the file, turn off the phone.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key at the same time for about 10 seconds. After the standard screensaver and vibration signal appear, the phone will boot into recovery mode.
Use the volume keys to select apply update from external storage.
Confirm your selection by briefly pressing the Power key. A file manager will open with the contents of the memory card.
Use the volume buttons to select a file update.zip.

Just today, a firmware update from version V018 to version V023 appeared on the FOTA servers, and an update is also available to switch from V022 to V023. True, some users still had problems installing it. Just in case, I decided to post the original official updates here, as well as the V018 -> V023 update for installation via CWM. You can download all this from the links below. I’ll make a reservation right away that for those who installed CWM, the regular update over the air will not be installed, because... when you switch from V018 --> V023, recovery is also updated, and you have CWM instead (which is why I prepared a separate update for installation via CWM).

For those who, for some reason, do not have the opportunity to install either one or the other, I am posting a full backup V023 for deployment via CWM:
To install it, simply unpack the folder 2015-02-12.19.46.05 onto the SD card /clockworkmod/backup/ (if you are copying files on a working device, then the folder should be placed in /storage/sdcard1/clockworkmod/backup/) and then boot into CWM and select restore. Nothing has been changed in the backup - all system files are standard, nothing has been deleted, the only thing is that root has been integrated and SuperSU has been installed.
p.s. Please note that if you do not need root or CWM, but only V023, then it is easier to wait for your device to update itself via FOTA. Although nothing has been changed in the system firmware files, with the next update after V023, another recovery update is possible, and in this case, in order to update via FOTA, you will have to flash the stock recovery from V023 into the phone in one way or another. It was not for nothing that the manufacturer organized the FOTA update server - each update is incremental and assumes that you have installed the original files from the previous version. This is why updates are done sequentially. If you modify something, be it recovery or deleting system applications, etc. - be prepared for the fact that FOTA will not work for you.
p.p.s. As one of the w3bsit3-dns.com users, angolubev, unsubscribes, it is still impossible to upgrade to V023 via FOTA. I quote: “There was V018_20141126 - the update to V023_20141222 was unsuccessful. First, a notification appeared about the availability of an update to v23, an attempt to update via FOTA was unsuccessful. The message “yu system damage...” came out. After that, even when I clicked the “check updates” button , the same thing comes out. Attempts to update through the file have no result, i.e. nothing changes the system at all."
Therefore, if something is not updated regularly for you, please do not ask me “how to fix it,” just wait until the appropriate corrections are made on FOTA, or use CWM and alternative update methods.

Unlock i.e. unlock (reflash) a mobile phone for calls via SIM cards of other operators. Below are instructions that you can use to unlock your smartphone.

Download the archive for unlocking and carefully follow the following steps:
- Unpack the file “C” -> “login” (it will contain 3 files drivers, flashtool, images);
- Run the folder "images" -> "gensim.exe". In the program window that opens, enter the IMEI of your phone and press Enter (IMEI is printed on the box of your phone, next to the barcode, there is a sticker with IMEI under the phone battery, you can also dial the code *# 06# IMEI will be displayed on the screen);
- (Enter IMEI correctly - only 15 digits without extra characters or spaces).
- Turn off the phone and remove the battery;
- Right-click “My Computer” -> “Manage” -> “Device Manager”, or click WinKey (near the Alt button on the keyboard) and enter devmgmt.msc;
- Connect your phone to your computer via USB (attention! no battery);
- Insert the battery (when the installation of the new device begins, quickly right-click -> “Update drivers”) and perform the following steps sequentially:
- “Search for installed drivers” -> “Select a driver from installed ones” -> “Install from disk” -> “Browse” and specify the path to C:\login\Drivers BroadCom\x32\bcmvcp.inf or C:\login\Drivers BroadCom \x64\bcmvcpm.inf depending on what OS you have;
- Install the driver and remember the COM port where the device is installed;
- Remove the battery;
- Run the Flashtool file (C:\login\flashtool\FlashTool.exe);
- Click Settings -> Configuration and specify in DIAG1 – DIAG9 the COM port on which the device is installed;
- Press the start button;
- Insert the battery and wait for the marked port to light up green and OK;
- Close Flashtool, remove the battery and install it again;
- Turn on your phone;
- Enter the unlock code (if necessary) 191519373892;
- Download and install the firmware;
- Update the firmware and delete data and cache in Recovery.
In the future, this will allow you to install the official Megafon firmware update and save you from many problems. The phone will be unlocked after the updates.
